When Shos revealed a part of his role D1, people asked him questions concerning what he revealed. I'm guessing "role-fishing" is meant in a negative context, but that situation didn't come off as negative or set off any alarms. I simply did the same to Shavey, and got more than I bargained for.

There was a reason for people to question shos' role (people couldn't vote him). Do you believe there was a reason to get more information about Shavey Dave's role? What are the pro-town motives for that? What are the pro-scum motives for doing that?

Yaya, this is completely different. a part of my role was confirmed by the mod; and since being a stump is bad to town, *I* initiated the talk about my role because it was of importance - I did not want town to waste a vig on me. here - there really was nothing. Shavey said that he knows more than others - but of course, this is role-madness games - everyone has a role with powers, of COURSE you know more than others. even if it was very stupid on his part to claim, you're the bad looking one. you did it very subtly, so that you can 'regret' it later, but even before I got to read shavey's claim - immidiately after reading your post - I facepalmed myself.

This is a serious offence.

I initially thought that Shavey basically blurted out his role for no reason, and I still think that Yaya's post wasn't asking him to do what he did, but Yaya asking this seems pretty bad:


It would have been at that point I'd be telling shavey that it wasn't what I was asking him to do, but Yaya questioned him about that before pointing out that it wasn't what he was intending to get from him, and that he shouldn't be revealing anything more.

I didn't have any motives behind it, lol. The way Shavey described it, it sounded like a one-way thing where Shavey could say something, but the other couldn't, but that seemed strange to me. I wasn't doing it to scumhunt, to sneakily attain his role, or any other motive. It was out of apparently morbid curiosity.

To me it was like the exchange below:
Waiter Bob: Do you want a glass of water?
Joe: No, I've been a hydrophobic since my mother drowned during my water-birth.

It should've been a yes/no question.

Triple Ninja'd (Shos/Thomas/Shos): I also thought it was kinda unneeded to say he knew things that others didn't, but I didn't think that was nessecerily scummy, so I tried to warn him instead of pouncing on him. Like I said above, I expected it to be a yes/no answer, which I wouldn't of considered a roleclaim. Yeah, ultimately I was stupid and it's my fault. No matter how many people facepalm at the exchange, there's not much I can do about it now.

Hey Shavey Dave, just for your information, your neighbor could be scum. Or maybe you're the scum neighbor and your neighbor is town aligned. You aren't both confirmed town unless you're masons. But it's still possible that you're both town aligned.

Well, it'd be nice if somebody said something. I'm kinda at a dead end here when it comes to explaining my actions to you, so maybe others can talk some sense to you (I have my doubts, lol). This is a win/lose situation; it sucks because nobody posting isn't helping my situation, but at least if nobody posts, I can't be mislynched!

Do keep in mind that there is 12 days left in D2. There's still plenty of time for "later" and such (yeah, I know Yuggy has been on since that post, but he doesn't add much to the game even when he's active). I'm pretty sure you're going to need some more evidence on me before you mislynch, no matter how much of a "serious offence" I've committed. I hope that most players would question lynching somebody in my circumstance this early in the day (keyword hope). I don't care if we discuss my innocence, or some completely different matter, an activity boost would be fantastical.
