And like Bmw said in the chatbox before you made that post, we run our updates on bukkit, so when bukkit comes out with 1.8, then we will update to a 1.8 server, then you can start building, also if you want any texture packs, then get 1.8 texture packs or you will see some annoying grey items ._.

Um, with the official update, not the pre-release, all the necessary textures are included, and there is no need to get a texture pack.

Yes, but if you want a texture pack, then you can download one, and 1.8 is already out, and I'm not talking about the pre-release, it was released a few days ago, but Bukkit will have the server update soon enough!

Well, with Dokucraft, anything that wasn't in 1.7.3, is now just all grey and is REALLY annoying.

Trust me MP is sooooo much more fun.

I'm actually having a really fun time with single player. Exploring underground and stumbling upon rare minerals is easily the funnest part about this game. I've built my house underneath a creek, and from my house I connected a stairwell to mines and caves, and from there I'll make a mote, rails, and all that other nonsense to connect to different parts of my map.

Will I ever be able to invite you guys to my world, or something? I don't know how multiplayer works.

Yeah, good 'ol single player. I supose I've just been playing it for longer.  

Through some wondrous way you can upload your world, but there's no way AFAIK to make it a multiplayer one.

I rarely play singleplayer anymore since I installed Dokucraft because I had to delete Zombe's mod pack, which let me spawn items, but I may just get Toomanyitems and start a survival world, but I will need a fly mod.  ._.

Kooler, in 1.8 creative you have unlimited items and can fly. Without any mods.

I go through phases of loving SMP, and then getting bored of that, switching to SSP, loving that, and then getting bored of that, switching to SMP, then...

so bmw how do you know when they release bukkit 1.8? And once they do that, how do we update the server?

There should be a little dropdown meun on the main page of the cPanel that says Server JAR.  You can change the version there.  As for the update, I usually check to see if the company has made the update available once when I get on, and then maybe one or two more times throughout the day, and then right before I get off.
As for WHEN, I don't know.  Soon, hopefully.

It'll probably be a while since it was such a big update.
