Tips for round winners:

If you don't have a great idea when you learn that it is your turn, don't just make a round that you don't even think is good. Try to think to come up with a good idea for a round, and then if you can't, then make a round that you don't even think is good.

Also you're encouraged to start the round in this format: "You have one post to [what you have one post to do goes here]"

Additionally don't end the round early. Rounds should be at least close to a day long. If you started the round at night, you can't end it tomorrow morning. If you started it in the morning, you shouldn't end it before you go to bed.

Interrounds:
The people running rounds are ideally supposed to judge approximately 24 hours after they start the round, but from now on if they haven't judged after 30 hours (6 hours late) then anyone is allowed to start a round between rounds, like the guess when Livio will start the next round, guess how many dogs shos has, ect.

You're also allowed to do this if the round has been judged within 30 hours, but the next guy hasn't started their round within 12 hours of the other round being judged.

The catch is of course that the round could end at any time, because these rounds last until the current round is judged and the next round begins.
You may judge rounds however you'd like, but at the end of the round there can only be one winner.

These rounds will be marked as ".5"s in the previous rounds and winners

so once i was in an opium den doing some marijuanas with friends, this was back in the 70s before the great opium den bust of 81 so it was still legal back then. all of a sudden i saw in front of me a huge blue chicken with purple feathers on its legs and a really big golden crown on its head, it was making noises like an ambulance. i reached out to hug it and it suddenly vomited all over me, but that's not the embarrassing part, it was when the buzz wore off that i realized everyone was laughing at me because there was no chicken and it was my friend chris, i'd hallucinated that he was a chicken and now he was sitting on my chest and I could barely breathe, he was unconscious and i wasn't far from passing out myself, my friends had called 911 because my face was all blue and the ambulance was on its way, that's why i heard the noises but i thought they came from the chicken. so the ambulance came, a sweaty middleaged emergency servicer did cpr on me to bring me back to consciousness and though i suffered some brain damage i turned out to be fine, couldn't say the same for chris though, poor guy never recovered and he died that christmas. rip chris

Since mymop is obviously not going to judge his round, I'm just going to start a new one. You have one post to write a sonnet dedicated to a member of the Interguild.

In case you don't know what a sonnet is, it's a kind of poem with 14 lines divided into 4 stanzas. The first three stanzas are four lines long and follow an alternating pattern of rhyme like abab. The last stanza is two lines that rhyme with each other. Each line should follow the pattern of iambic pentameter like this: _*_*_*_*_* The stars indicate a stressed syllable, the underscores are unstressed. All in all, the rhyme pattern of the sonnet should follow this scheme: ababcdcdefefgg

It may look complicated but it's actually really simple, once you've written one or two you'll realize how naturally it comes to your mind. I can write an entire sonnet in 10 minutes at 3am which is the only time you should write any poetry.

Well who the heck would want to write a post?
It's hard to write a thing in this dumb style,
as every single line requires the most
detailed account. Now this could take a while.
Along with lack of all activity,
for all of us now seem to be aware.
Preoccupied with productivity,
the Interguild is now completely bare.
It's neezle's fault for making this dumb round.
This post I made in hopes all stick around.

Mymop, you truly are amazing.
You're always thinking and appraising
About the most brilliant ideas
From tank engines to cake tortillas.
You think of the most incredible things,
Like muffin makers and cats with wings.
You don't give up until there is no hope
Of building on the continental slope.
But now, with this poem you're having some trouble;
On every line, you seem to struggle.
You're always so calm and relaxed
And you'll look great once your mustache has been waxed.
On the Interguild, you're the coolest member
(Except for HB, you must remember).

I know this post with a "lol this topic is ded" attitude, but yeah, this really was a great forum game. Like really good. It wasn't super repetitive, was something where people would put thought into their posts (some of the entries were really clever), was pretty active, encouraged creativity. Compared to some of the other garbage forum games we put out there (Count to 5000 anyone?), this was REALLY successful, and in my opinion the best topic on the site. I mean, damn, over 5000 posts on this thread. We went further than the count to 5000 thread and actually provided content!

Build a dedicated AI that only knows how to ask random questions, maybe from twitter or something. write code to get a bunch of AI chatbots to respond to the question. Have users judge the answers at the end of every day.

Make a super sophisticated system that will locate us in real life and notify us through SMS that it is our turn to judge, start a new round, or make an entry in the thread.

I was gonna say "that's not reasonable" but then I realised that's basically a synonym with boring so I'm just gonna pretend that it doesn't have to be reasonable
Anyway, personally I feel like that would be a completely different game, albeit super interesting so a solid 6/10
