| Tips for round winners: If you don't have a great idea when you learn that it is your turn, don't just make a round that you don't even think is good. Try to think to come up with a good idea for a round, and then if you can't, then make a round that you don't even think is good. Also you're encouraged to start the round in this format: "You have one post to [what you have one post to do goes here]" Additionally don't end the round early. Rounds should be at least close to a day long. If you started the round at night, you can't end it tomorrow morning. If you started it in the morning, you shouldn't end it before you go to bed. Interrounds: The people running rounds are ideally supposed to judge approximately 24 hours after they start the round, but from now on if they haven't judged after 30 hours (6 hours late) then anyone is allowed to start a round between rounds, like the guess when Livio will start the next round, guess how many dogs shos has, ect. You're also allowed to do this if the round has been judged within 30 hours, but the next guy hasn't started their round within 12 hours of the other round being judged. The catch is of course that the round could end at any time, because these rounds last until the current round is judged and the next round begins. You may judge rounds however you'd like, but at the end of the round there can only be one winner. I'm too lazy to actually dig up any of my old essays, but for those of you who are still in high school, when you have a good opportunity, one of the things I liked to do was write a fake paper (low effort or not), and turn it in with no name, along with your actual paper. For example, there was one paper where we had to propose a constitutional amendment; in addition to my actual paper, I turned in a paper that was titled "Anti-Procrastination Amendment" and had no other content. High school was a lot more fun after I stopped taking every project so seriously and started seeing how much I could get away with while still meeting assignment criteria.  spooky secret | |

Spaghetti-o-fier: when breaking this box, which looks like any other crate (if a bit more noodly), there is a .1337% chance that every other block you touch within 10 tiles will turn into a spaghetti-o-fier, which will in turn have a .1337% of doing the same thing (and so the cycle continues). I'm not quite sure what atvelonis means. So like if it were a wooden crate you'd have an obscure chance of every other block you touch afterwards also turning into a spaghetti-o-fier/wooden crate? Or is it just that every other object you touch could turn into a spaghetti-o-fier, but being that the property of a spaghetti-o-fier is that it looks like any other crate, the crates turning into a spaghetti-o-fier doesn't actually make any visual change and would be completely unnoticed by the player? I thought you were going in the direction of the crate breaking causes some of the tiles around the crate to be randomized completely, which I think I actually like more as an idea. Anyways, the "most unique" characteristic seems like a tall order. So instead of giving a unique one I'll just give one that is simple and could be easily implemented that I haven't heard before. The death block, if destroyed, you die immediately. Probably not too many uses for it, but you know, whatever. spooky secret | |

Actually, what Quirvy described isn't the same as a spike, since it would kill the player if destroyed by non-player objects (arrows and explosions). It could be used to make some interesting traps. As for a unique block idea, here's mine: A bunny block. It falls and rolls like a boulder, but if a bunny block is near another bunny block, it has a chance every tick to create a new bunny block on top of it. They'd multiply until they filled the entire cave, like Tribbles in Star Trek. They can be destroyed by arrows, dynamite, spikes and enemies or you can avoid triggering them by never letting two of them touch.  Quote: Rictory for Ralkyon! HATPC Reborn home page | |
